24-7 Recruitment are currently looking for a HGV Class 1 Driver for a client we are representing in the Mendlesham area, this is an ongoing role for the right candidate. The hours of 08:00 - 16:00 might extend once volume increases. You will be doing shunts to and from local a delivery point.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year HGV Class 1 experience
- Full UK Driving licence with C+E / Full CPC and DIGI Tacho card
- No DD, DR or IN convictions on licence
Responsibilities**:**
- Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Complete necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
