This is a great opportunity to work In-House as a Legal Advisor for a highly regarded Housing Association in Basingstoke. On offer is a competitive salary, hybrid working and a friendly working environment. This is an initial 6-month contract with a possibility of being made permanent.
You will be responsible for a caseload of Shared Ownership Plot Sale Conveyancing Transactions and assist the wider team.
Your main duties will include:
- Preparing and issuing documents from precedent formats such as contracts, transfers and shared ownership leases
- Liaising with third parties such as buyers' solicitors and estate agents to progress sale transactions
- Approving mortgages
- Reviewing draft conveyance plans for compliance with the Land Registry's Practice Guide
- Dealing with or referring enquiries to Senior members of the team for comment
The role will suit anyone with experience in Plot Sale Conveyancing (ideally Shared Ownership Plot Sale Conveyancing) who is looking for an opportunity to work in-house for a Housing Association.
