A global, market-leading manufacturer are recruiting a forward-thinking, pro-active Production Planner to join Redditch based site. Working closely with the production & purchasing teams, you will be overseeing all planning, scheduling and labour planning for the business.
As a Production Planner you will be responsible for:
- Working closely with production to ensure customers despatch dates are met
- Raising and kitting of production paperwork
- Demand planning along with labour capacity planning
- Attending daily shortage meetings with supervisors
To be successful within this Production Planner role you will have:
- Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills
- Experienced in the use of a range of computer systems. The business uses SAP and it would be a distinct advantage if you were to have this as well as strong espereince with Excel
