A Bristol-based team of experienced advertisers, developers and data scientists are looking for a Graphic Designer to join their ambitious digital marketing agency. Focused on delivering high-performing and memorable advertising, the company prides itself on using clear, jargon-free communication to help clients grow. Having worked with freelancers, they are now ready to expand the team with a full-time designer to elevate their creative output.

What you'll be doing

Joining a small agency team you'll be part of a tight-knit collaborative crew of experts in digital marketing.

Day to day you'll be responsible for creating visually appealing and on-brand graphics for social media ad campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. The agency specialise in data driven campaigns but clients are varied, you could find yourself working with brands in tech, food & drink, sustainable energy solutions, entertainment, holiday & travel, healthcare and more.

Alongside social campaign creative you'll help create landing pages and occasionally there will be opportunities to create animations or motion graphics to enhance campaigns (though you won't need to be a motion graphics expert).

As the main in-house Graphic Designer you'll help establish the visual style and guidelines for the design team and stay up to date with the latest trends and best practice in digital marketing, ensuring the agency stays ahead of the curve creatively.

What experience you'll need

  • Proficient with modern design packages such as the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Strong understanding of design principles with a keen eye for detail. You'll have expertise in typography, colour theory, and composition.
  • A portfolio demonstrating your digital design experience, particularly in social media campaigns.
  • A great communicator with good time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with marketing and development teams.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes.

Desirable Skills (But Not Required)

  • Previous experience of working on landing pages and motion graphics projects highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS or familiarity with web development principles.
