The Role:
As a Customer Service Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the Highway Operations & Infrastructure Group. You will handle enquiries, complaints, and Freedom of Information requests, ensuring accurate record-keeping. You'll engage with customers both internally and externally across multiple platforms, providing excellent service in all communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Support:
Lead the handling of customer enquiries and complaints, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Multi-Channel Engagement:
Deliver high-quality service through written, verbal, and digital communication channels.
- Administrative Support:
Support financial, administrative, and reporting functions within the team to keep operations running smoothly.
- Collaboration:
Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure the delivery of cohesive customer service.

- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- IT proficiency, with the ability to manage records and databases.
- Previous customer service or administrative experience.
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload with conflicting priorities.

Qualifications:
- Educated to A-Level or equivalent.
- Relevant qualifications in business administration or customer service (NVQ Level 3/4 desirable).
