Quantity Surveyor
- Annual Salary: £35k - £45k (DOE)

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial Team, contributing to the successful delivery of a collaborative, open book bespoke £100M Target Cost gas construction and maintenance contract. This role is ideal for a professional with experience in cost and value activities, who thrives in a collaborative environment and is adept at managing commercial and accounts activities.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Utilise Causeway Project Accounting (CPA) to record, check, and report on cost and value.
- Calculate productivity bonus payments and accurately forecast, monitor, and report project cost and value.
- Prepare monthly and final applications for payment and assess and process sub-contract applications for payment.
- Interrogate cost reports, interpret financial data, and reconcile cost and value.
- Generate weekly, monthly, and ad hoc commercial reports, including monthly CVRs.
- Prepare cost estimates and promote an inclusive workplace, encouraging diversity of thought, backgrounds, and experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Essential experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Accounts Manager, preferably in Utility Works.
- Proficient in M365 suite of applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication skills with client-facing attributes.
- Collaborative nature as a manager and as a key contract management team member.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Desirable experience in processing high volume, low value work orders, ideally Utility Works.
- Familiarity with Causeway and Oracle accounting systems and PowerBI application.
- Third level qualification in Accountancy or Quantity Surveying.
- Working towards or attained professional membership.
