Design Engineer Full Time, Permanent King's Lynn Up to £50,000 P.A + Excellent Benefits

Our client is a leader in manufacturing bespoke industrial equipment and solutions to businesses across the UK and overseas.
Following a huge amount of growth over the recent years, they are now looking to expand their technical department to assist with key engineering and design roles within the business. You will play a crucial role liaising with internal technical teams and clients with the full project cycle of bespoke product designs across the business.
The ideal applicant will have design experience wanting to progress themselves into a career and not just a job. Full training and development will be provided into industry specific courses that will enhance your knowledge. You will become one of the leads and go to people within the technical department, playing a key role in the company.
What's involved for the Design Engineer...
- Produce designs of bespoke equipment cross the companies product lines
- Design of mechanical components
- The creation of M&E schedules
- Produce a quotations and project costings
- Compile heat / load calculations
- Calculate pipe sizes
- Create and review specifications of product systems and components
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers and review specifications
- Conception and realisation of defined and innovative test methods and procedures providing class leading results and products
What you'll need...
- Good computer literacy
- The ability to work to tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail
- Self-motivated and the ability to work on your own initiative.
- Electrical knowledge (not essential as full training provided)
- Good verbal and written communication across all levels.
- Knowledge of CAD, SolidWorks or similar platforms
- Experience within MEP ideal but not essential
- Ability to working well within a team
