The Company

A qualified Revenue Controller is sought by a leading professional services group with an enviable portfolio of FTSE 100 and Blue Chip clients. This organization offers a broad range of services across international offices in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Ambitious growth plans and continued profitable expansion within all markets and regions has created a new opportunity for a Revenue Controller to join the team. Providing support to the Partners and Functional Heads, you will be responsible for delivering a best-in-class service to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities of the Revenue Controller

  • Engage in monthly revenue discussions with Partners and Associates, addressing WIP, debts, disbursements, client funds, time tracking, and billing processes.
  • Generate comprehensive client fee analyses for Partners, using ARCS 3 to ensure accurate progress tracking.
  • Resolve billing issues to facilitate prompt invoicing of matters.
  • Contribute to Credit Control efforts, including invoice follow-ups with Partners, client communications, reviewing billed invoices, and helping the team achieve cash targets.
  • Address various queries related to accounts payable.
  • Support the Team Leader in preparing partner and client reports with Elite/BI/Qlikview tools.
  • Maintain knowledge and adherence to professional regulations, such as UK VAT laws and Solicitors Accounts Rules.
  • Assist with the FRS5 process as necessary.
  • Track and manage volume discounts and rebates when applicable.
  • Coordinate secondments and provide guidance to Partners on the procedures.

Skills & Attributes of the Revenue Controller

  • Previous experience of working in a law firm is highly advantageous (other professional services firms will be considered)
  • Prior experience as a Revenue Controller is seen as essential - ideally 2+ years
  • Experience in the production of client and partner reporting
  • Knowledge of 3E systems would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills, professional integrity, and personal resilience
