We are now looking for an M&E Estimator to join our Operational Services Team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role
As an M&E Estimator, you will manage contracts from the tender process through to supplier bid analysis, ensuring our service provider relations are effectively maintained.
Taking ownership of service provider relations, estimation and quotation activities both at the proposal/tender stage and during the design process, you'll support the Energy Team with all new bids and tender activity and ensure smooth project mobilisation.
You'll manage supply chain partners to obtain quotes, estimates and analyse supplier bids, liaising with clients to arrange site visits and supporting our external delivery partners.
Additionally, you will:
- Produce and compile tender documentation and tender packs
- Assist with pricing queries and variation cost production
- Develop the supply chain network in the region
- Manage resources required for all aspects of the operation
- Support the development of our commercial strategy
About You
To be considered as an M&E Estimator, you will need:
- Proven experience of M&E installation works
- Proven experience and success in technical or commercial within M&E or construction sector
- Experience on large scale projects (£2 million+)
- Experience of building services, M&E system design, project management and renewable energy technology
- Main Contractor experience, or the ability to evidence good working knowledge of the construction process e.g., an in-depth understanding of methods, principles, tools and equipment
- Knowledge of pre-construction processes
- The ability to read, understand and critique technical drawings
- Well-developed negotiation skills
