About the setting: Our client is a family-run nursery that has been running for over 20 years. This setting pride themselves on creating a homely atmosphere where children feel safe, loved, and inspired to learn.
Position: Nursery Manager
Location: West London
Hours: Hours between 08:00 and 18:00
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment for children and staff.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of dedicated childcare professionals.
- Develop and implement educational programs that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Build strong, positive relationships with parents, children, and the local community.
- Manage administrative tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the nursery meets all Ofsted standards and maintains its high-quality rating.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years Education (or equivalent), with a preference for candidates with a Level 5 or higher.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within an early years setting.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and childcare regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing exceptional care.
