Part-Time Class Teacher

Posted by Randstad Education.

We have a vacancy for a part-time teacher at a vibrant and growing school situated in Keynsham, Bath.

This is an opportunity to make a real difference in children's lives and their futures. It is a chance to join a supportive team, on an improvement journey to ensure all our children reach their potential. We are seeking an enthusiastic and flexible teacher, who understands the importance of going 'over and above'.

Our children thrive with adults who are friendly, firm, and fair, and we are seeking a teacher who is calm, consistent, and committed. Being able to identify with our school vision and values is also essential for all our staff.

The post would be in one of the following classes: Y2/3 mixed, Y4, or Y5/6 mixed. This would depend on the experience and skills of the successful candidate. All of our classes have parallel classes and teachers for support.

We can offer you:

  • Children who will make you smile every day
  • Consideration of your well-being and access to support (if needed)
  • Parallel teacher(s) and classes to plan and work alongside
  • Access to 'Teacher Admin' to reduce non-teaching tasks
  • Schemes of Work (English, Maths, and other subjects) and pre-planned topics
  • In-class support from a committed team of TAs and a Pastoral Team
  • Access to high-quality CPD at both whole school, Key Stage, and individual levels
  • Opportunities to grow as a professional and truly develop a subject across the school
  • PPA covered by a qualified teacher
  • Resources to support teaching: a high ratio of tech for children to use and a new library
  • The support of a Trust that values its employees and respects our school's individuality

This post would suit an experienced teacher (or someone returning to the profession) or a very strong ECT (first or second year). The hours would increase (Wednesday morning) to ensure any ECT received their full release entitlement.

We encourage visits to our school so you can see for yourself all we can offer and that we are the right school for you.

The Partnership Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Safeguarding Statement We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
