Contract: Part-time, Fixed Term
Duration: September 2024 - July 2025 (potential for permanent position from September 2025)
Hours: Mornings supporting the curriculum, Afternoons supporting phonics interventions

We are seeking a passionate and committed Teaching Assistant to join our mixed Key Stage 1 class. This part-time role is set to commence in September 2024 and will continue for the academic year until July 2025, with the possibility of becoming a permanent position from September 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Key Stage 1 class in the mornings across all aspects of the curriculum.
- Assist with phonics interventions in the afternoons, using the Read Write Inc phonics program.
- Work with small groups to enhance their phonics skills and overall learning experience.
- Collaborate with teachers to provide a nurturing and effective learning environment.
- Contribute to the overall well-being and development of the students.
Requirements:
- A TA qualification at level 2 or above is essential.
- Confidence in supporting phonics with small groups.
- Experience with the Read Write Inc phonics program is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to supporting the educational and personal development of young children.
