About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our client on a temporary basis for 6 months. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in helping us clear a backlog of purchase ledger invoices and other related documentation. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a dynamic work environment, supporting our finance department during a busy period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Management: Match, check, and process invoices accurately into our Visibility and SAP systems.
- Credit Card Processing: Handle company credit card statements with precision and attention to detail.
- Documentation: Scan and file delivery notes along with other necessary documents.
- Reconciliation: Perform reconciliation of supplier statements to ensure accuracy.
- Query Resolution: Address invoice queries by liaising effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- General Support: Undertake additional tasks as reasonably requested by the Line Manager, within the scope of your abilities.
Experience and Knowledge Requirements:
Essential:
- Basic knowledge of Excel.
- Strong attention to detail.
Desirable:
- Experience with Visibility system.
- Experience with SAP.
Skills and Competency Requirements:
- Ability to maintain high standards of quality in all tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact at all levels of the business.
- Strong organisational skills with a genuine ability to multitask.
- Meticulous approach with a strong commitment to following tasks through to completion in a timely manner.
