Qualified Social Worker - Rochdale Council, Greater Manchester - Fostering Service - £35

  • We are looking to recruit a passionate social worker into the Fostering Service in Rochdale as part of the Family and Friends Team.
  • This is an exciting time to be joining the service as we have launched Mockingbird and No Wrong Door and are underway with plans to train all fostering staff and foster carers in Secure Base model and all social workers in the fostering service in Dyadic Developmental Practice and Psychotherapy level 1.
  • The successful experienced candidate will have a proven background in safeguarding children and working with families and have excellent assessment skills, keeping the child's needs central. A passion for safeguarding children and understanding of fostering legislation, as well as an ability to work with partner agencies is essential.
  • Direct experience of completing assessments with families, supporting and supervising connected foster carers is essential.
  • You will be welcomed into a friendly, stable and experienced team of social workers within the fostering service.
  • We are looking to recruit a passionate social worker into the Fostering Service in Rochdale as part of the Connected Persons Team.
  • This is an exciting time to be joining the service as we have launched Mockingbird and No Wrong Door and continue to embed the Secure Base model in our practice and connected persons fostering assessments.
