Role Overview:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Learning and Development Administrator to join our client's dynamic team in Bradford. This role is essential in supporting the Learning and Development (L&D) function, with a particular focus on on-boarding new employees, ensuring they receive the training and support necessary for a smooth integration into the company.
As a Learning and Development Administrator, you will be pivotal in coordinating and managing the on-boarding process, ensuring that new hires are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in their roles. Your responsibilities will also include supporting ongoing training initiatives, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in the development of training materials.
Key Responsibilities:

  • On-boarding Coordination: Lead the on-boarding process by scheduling and organising orientation sessions, ensuring all new employees receive the necessary training and resources.
  • Training Support: Assist in the facilitation of initial training sessions, helping new employees understand company policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and monitor new hire progress during their on-boarding period, providing feedback and support to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain and update L&D records, including attendance, assessments, and certification tracking.
  • Material Development: Support the creation and distribution of training materials, ensuring content is accurate and relevant.
  • Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback on training effectiveness and recommend improvements to enhance the on-boarding experience.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Experience in an administrative role, ideally within Learning and Development or a similar function.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or similar software.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in managing records and documentation.
