Hays is recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Instructor to join a dynamic Northamptonshire Secondary School that offers a vibrant learning environment where students are encouraged to explore the wonders of the natural world through engaging and interactive lessons.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned science lessons for students of various ages and abilities.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to foster a deep understanding of scientific concepts.
- Create a stimulating and safe laboratory environment that promotes hands-on learning and experimentation.
- Develop and implement formative and summative assessments to track student progress.
- Contribute to the department's curriculum development and planning.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics preferred, but willingness to teach across disciplines a plus).
- Strong subject knowledge.
- Excellent communication, teaching, and classroom management skills.
- The ability to differentiate instruction and cater to individual student needs.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
