Stanton House is currently recruiting for an Interim Senior Finance Business Partner to join a Large Support Services Business on a 6-9-month Contract paying £650 - £700 per day Inside IR35. This role is mainly remote with some travel (once per week).
Responsibilities:
- Understand and integrate the process flow with control requirements.
- Analyse and comprehend existing processes, focusing on cost capture, cost recording and accruals management.
- Manage and oversee the work of two finance analysts, ensuring they prioritise and manage their workload. As well as guide their investigations and ensure productive outcomes.
- Handle large volumes of data across multiple systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain a keen attention to detail while managing extensive data, ensuring nothing is overlooked.
- Analyse and consolidate this data, take a strategic view, interpret implications and meaning, and present this to various financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Understand and represent processes accurately within financial accounts.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, contributing to outcomes beyond traditional Finance Business Partner roles.
- Maintain a robust outcome-driven approach, balancing detailed analysis with a broader perspective on results.
To be suitable for this role you must have the following:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Audit background.
- Previous Business Partnering experience within a large organisation.
- Experience with large data sets - extracting, analysing and interpreting data.
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
- IT and Systems literacy - strong Excel skills and SAP are essential.
