MY clients a well-established, growing Fine ART Logistics company are seeking an experienced Transport Manager!
- Efficiently managing a team of drivers making sure they comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules and government regulations
- Dealing with customer's requests via phone and mail, arranging quotation and collections/deliveries for UK and Europe by road freight.
- Ensuring high levels of customer service are maintained
- Arranging collections/deliveries for the UK by road freight
- Overseeing the collection/delivery time of goods, maintaining delivery schedules and tracking the fleet of vehicles, ensuring customer's requirements are met
- Keeping a record of the documents related to the bookings
- Working closely with the Warehouse Manager in order to guarantee and keep records of in and out goods
Skills required:
- Fine Art experience required
- Experience within a supervisory / management role
- Good understanding of current transportation and H&S regulations
- Freight forwarding experience
- Have excellent customer service experience
- Route planning experience
- PC literate
Working hours:
- Monday- Friday
