Position: Receptionist/Switchboard Operator
Location: Rotherham
Hours: 37 hours per week until December
Salary: £14 - 17 per hour (DOE)

We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity on behalf of our client, for a skilled and personable Receptionist/Switchboard Operator to join their team on a temporary, full-time basis until December. About the Role:

As a Receptionist/Switchboard Operator, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, students, and staff. Our client is looking for someone who can:

  • Operate the college's busy switchboard and manage front desk reception duties efficiently
  • Manage the student absence line with professionalism
  • Provide essential administrative support to the Curriculum administration office, ensuring seamless service delivery to both students and staff

What You'll Need:

  • Customer Service Expertise: Experience in a customer-focused environment, particularly within a busy switchboard or reception setting
  • Qualifications: Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy
  • Organisational Skills: Ability to work methodically and flexibly, handling multiple tasks under pressure
  • IT Skills: Competency in IT for performing administrative duties
  • Professionalism: A calm, helpful demeanour and the ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality, following Data Protection policies
