**Data Reporting Analyst** (Contract)
Duration: 12 Months (Possibility for extension)
Location: Chester/Hybrid (3 days per week on site)
Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day Rate or Salary is available for suitable candidates
About the Role
We're looking for a data and reporting analyst who is passionate about applying data to solve for problems and inform insights. The successful candidate will join a group of people committed to making the bank first class for creating and sustaining Compliance Assurance controls across the collaboration and productivity space.
The most important attribute this person will have, is the ability to have a data accuracy, consistency, and integrity mindset of constantly measuring success and driving continuous improvement in tools, content and processes.
Role Requirements:
- Work with Vendor and Engineering teams to optimize data quality and improve data availability.
- Provide ad hoc and regular tasks and reporting.
- Build and enhance Splunk dashboards, searches and reporting with a mindset to understand the data so to engage technology SMEs to capture and define requirements.
- Identify anomalous data, investigate, and propose solutions to eliminate issues with data sources and data movement that contribute to sub-optimal processing and reporting.
- Understand the range of data analytics tools and when to apply them to specific objectives.
- Accountability of daily mobile voice recording systems analytics to troubleshoot and remediate issues.
- Ownership of ensuring service delivery for internal and external stakeholders
- Work with Vendor and Engineering teams to optimize data quality and improve data availability.
- Provide ad hoc and regular tasks/reports.
- Author and update process documentation
Skills & Experience:
- Proficient with Excel data modelling
- Define, develop, maintain, and enhance Splunk SPL searches, dashboards and data.
- Strong analytical skills with a competence to manipulate complex data sets to uncover actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills enabling your analytics to be engaged and understood by technology SMEs.
- Proven ability to pursue an understanding of the data and how it represents technology and processes.
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Appreciation for communications technology from Cisco, NICE, IPC, Microsoft, VoxSmart, 1Global
- Metric reporting and analytics using Business Intelligence tools.
- Participated in Agile methods for deliverables.
- Knowledge of Splunk system architecture.
