The successful candidate will play a crucial role in establishing the sales pipeline from its inception and will possess the tenacity to see the process through to commission earnings. Experience in a start-up environment and the ability to solve puzzles and convert leads to contracts are highly advantageous.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Create opportunities to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Develop and influence the ecosystem to build future revenue pathways.
- Build strategic networks and partnerships.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.
- Manage a portfolio to deliver revenue outcomes and scale market opportunities.
- Engage with the internal technical community and translate technical aspects into commercial outcomes.
- Support grant application processes.
- Work closely with a diverse team of scientists, engineers, and commercial professionals to contribute to the company's success in addressing major global challenges.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven background in Process Industry/Manufacturing.
- Advanced Materials or Deep Tech Licensing experience preferred.
- Ability to identify commercial opportunities and convert them into revenue streams.
- Experience in building trust and influencing partners.
- Independent self-starter with a strong sense of personal responsibility and ownership.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex, multi-layered information to all audiences.
- Meticulous attention to detail and adept at managing interactions.
- Experience in building, owning, and delivering a revenue pipeline.
