Cedar are supporting a Public Sector client who are looking for an Interim Procurement Officer. This role will run on an initial 3 month basis (potential to extend) and is offering a day rate of £170 (INSIDE IR35). This role will operate on a hybrid basis with 2 days in the office in Manchester and the remainderworking from home. The client is ideally looking for someone to start in mid/late August 2024.
The successful candidate will report into and work with the Procurement Manager and will responsible for supporting a wide range of Procurements in line with PCR2015. You will be responsible for supporting end-to-end procurement exercises in line with policies and procedures to ensure the successful provision of contracts to help achieve value for money. You will also be required to help review and amend tender and contractual documentation along with supporting the set up of new suppliers.
Candidates applying MUST HAVE:
- Experience working in a similar role in the UK Public Sector
- Understanding of PCR2015
- Experience using Public Sector Frameworks
