PMLD Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching are looking for an enthusiastic PMLD Teaching Assistant to join an excellent school in Bury. Although experience working with Special Needs in a school is preferred, any professional or personal experience supporting Complex Needs is what actually matters in this role; an understanding of how to provide exceptional care and nurture a child with complex needs is what makes the difference in this role. This role is paid on a daily rate of at least GBP100 but may exceed this, depending on a candidates experience and training.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD:

  • Have experience working with children that have SEN Needs on a 1:1 or group basis.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Take initiative
  • Committed to work 5 days a week

  • The minimum rate of pay Minimum rate GBP 90 per day.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide professional references to cover the past 2 years
  • Committed to meeting our rigorous compliance requirements
