Teaching Assistant Vacancy at Specialist Resource Base, Cardiff
Reed Education are working with an excellent high school based in the Cardiff area, currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant to join their Specialist Resource Base. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are committed to supporting the educational journey of students with additional needs.
Location: Leckwith, Cardiff Hours: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only Salary: £12.82 per hour Contract: Supply and Long-Term Available Start Date: Maternity cover with potential for extension after November DBS: Must possess an enhanced DBS check
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students within the Specialist Resource Base.
- Assist in the development and delivery of individual learning plans.
- Work closely with teachers to facilitate inclusive education practices.
- Monitor and support student progress and well-being.
- Engage with students to foster a positive learning environment.
- Address and manage specific educational needs and challenging behaviours.
