Our client is currently recruiting for a Lead Maintenance Engineer at their site in Castle Donington, Derbyshire. The successful Lead Maintenance Engineer will have experience in leading and coordinating a team of maintenance engineers and will carry out hands on maintenance to ensure the plant runs smoothly and efficiently.
This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with an electrical engineering bias who are leaving their military engineering career and are looking to join a company who are market leaders in their industry.
Lead Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
- Must have completed a recognised apprenticeship program and hold an Electrical qualification to level 3 as a minimum.
- Proven experience of leading a team.
- Experience working on single and 3 phase systems.
- Have strong electrical fault finding and diagnostic experience.
- Previous PLC fault finding experience.
- Hold mechanical skills, working with drives, gears, hydraulics, motors and compressed air systems.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical engineering diagrams, schematics and assembly drawings.
- Hold an IOSH qualification.
- Understanding of WMS or WCS systems would be beneficial.
- IT Literate.
Lead Maintenance Engineer Benefits:
- Salary is £56,585 including shift allowance.
- Panama shift pattern - 0600 - 1800 - 0600 hours.
