Do you have a proven track record of teaching Design Technology in a secondary school?

Academics are actively looking for enthusiastic Design Technology Teachers who are now looking to gain day-to-day, short, and long term assignments within our partnership secondary schools in Buckinghamshire.

Whether this is a long term contract or more week by week supply, we have work for you!

Our opportunities are great as they allow our teachers to be flexible with the days that they wish to work and these roles can be ideal for DT Early Career Teachers (ECTSs) as these roles historically have led to more long-term and permanent roles un some of the schools we work with.

We are currently welcoming applications from Design Technology Teachers with specialisms in, Food and Nutrition, Textiles, Resistant Materials, or Product Design.

Roles Requirements

  • Have Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
  • Be familiar with the National Curriculum and the Design Technology Programmes of study
  • Have strong classroom management with excellent subject knowledge and to have the ability to teach and inspire positive learning attitudes
  • Be able to adapt quickly with a new school environment and to be a good team player
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the update service or to be prepared to apply for a new Enhanced DBS with ourselves (cost applied)

Please be aware for long-term assignments you will be paid according to your teacher pay grade.

If you are a secondary Design Technology Teacher who holds the relevant experience and you wish to be considered for our supply opportunities from September 20204 (or after the October half-term), please click 'APPLY NOW' below or submit your most up to date CV for an immediate interview.
