Horizon Teachers are recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a SEN school based in Solihull. The school is Ofsted rated good' with a strong team passionate about supporting young pupils with Special Needs. The school are recruiting for someone who is confident at building relationships, patient and a strong a team player.

The role

  • Carrying out behaviour management in line with the school's policies and procedures
  • Supporting pupils inside and outside the classroom.
  • Accompanying and supporting students with their academic and personal development.
  • Being proactive in the class to ensure your learning support is tailored to each child's individual need.
  • Supporting a mixed class of students aged 4 -16 year olds
