Production Operative
Location: Outskirts of Bedford (Transport required)
Contract Type: Temporary
Salary: £11.50 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4.30pm
Join our client's dynamic team on the outskirts of Bedford, a leading manufacturing company dedicated to delivering high-quality products to their customers. We are currently seeking motivated and reliable Temporary Production Operative to support their busy production team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete ‘hot work' with rubber joinery as required.
- Operate machinery and equipment as required to meet production targets.
- Regularly complete heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
- Occasionally work on knees (knee pads provided).
- Assemble, package, and label products according to company standards.
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specified requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety protocols.
- Work as part of a team to achieve daily production goals.
- Report any issues or defects to the supervisor promptly.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Good communication and literacy skills.
- Basic understanding of maths preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
