Account Manager (hybrid working)

Who will I be working for?

You will be working for an award-winning leading PR firm. Due to continued business wins they are seeking to appoint an Account Manager to manage a portfolio of exciting digital campaigns.

What will I be doing?

You will be working as an Account Manager within the Communications team. Working across an exciting range of accounts crossing business and consumer sectors. A proactive, capable pair of hands to lead day-to-day activity, you will have a proven track record in delivering integrated client strategies across multiple channels.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Supporting planning of client PR, influencer and social strategy and content.
  • Quarterly digital PR story planning.
  • Selling into consumer and B2B media.
  • Overseeing social media content and channels.
  • Influencer engagement and management.
  • Managing the client relationship and reporting.
  • Juggling client requirements and additional projects.
  • Mentoring of juniors to build the team's overall skills and abilities.

What skills and experience are required?

You will have a good eye for a news hook, understand the media landscape and have a journalistic appetite for a story. Curious and inquisitive, interested in the news agenda and trends affecting the Comms industry. Experienced in media relations and can create great written content in multiple forms, including social.

You will have a basic understanding of digital platforms such as Google Analytics, social ad platforms and Ahrefs is a benefit.

  • Have agency experience running campaigns across PR and social channels OR experience running digital PR campaigns (PR for SEO) campaigns.
  • Be creative and intellectually curious, with a passion for brand communications in earned media.
  • A critical thinker; from dissecting a brief and developing the strategy through to analysing results and making recommendations for optimisation.
  • Consistently drive strong results for clients and have the foresight to change the strategy if needed.
  • Thrive off team leadership and know that if the team is getting great results, then that can only reflect well on you.
  • Be commercially minded and able to grow accounts YoY.

What else do I need to know?

This is a permanent role. Hybrid working as standard, 3 days in office, 2 days WFA - plus flexibility on start/end times and additional days to WFA and early finish Fridays in August.
