An excellent opportunity has come up at our Pilot Plant, where you will ensure that all fixed plant, mobile equipment and office equipment is maintained.
The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Repairing or replacing plant equipment as required/ carrying out upgrades
- Undertaking trials and operating campaigns in the IBL Pilot Plant
- Liaising with engineers and project stakeholders
- Booking in MOTs and Service for company vehicles
- Ensuring load bearing and lifting equipment is booked in for servicing/ maintenance
- Observing Safe Systems of Work i.e. lock-out/ tag-out, work permits, pre-start checklists and risk assessments
- Creating and collecting data

Candidate requirements:
- NVQ level 3, or equivalent, in Engineering
- Have a sound understanding of predominantly mechanical and some electrical maintenance including fixed processing plant - including fans, filters, mills, conveyors, packaging, etc.
- Able to fault find and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Have good communication skills and are a team player.
- Good level of IT skills
- Legally able to drive in the UK
