Principal Acoustic Consultant
My client is a well-established independent consultancy specialising in architectural and environmental acoustics, is seeking a dedicated Acoustic Consultant to join their team. Requirements:
- A BSc and/or MSc in Acoustics or a related field, coupled with membership with the Institute of Acoustics
- A valid UK driver's licence
- Previous experience with EIA-scale projects within the renewable energy sector or general construction environment
- Proficiency in conducting noise assessments and surveys for energy infrastructure-related projects
Responsibilities:
- Close coordination with all stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Collaborating at all stages of a project's lifecycle
- Executing background noise surveys and predictions to create noise chapters for EIA and other supporting documents
- The use of advanced problem-solving and workplace best practices to uphold company integrity
