Solar Electrician, Improver or Mate required to work around the Gloucester area.
My client is happy to take on a Domestic electrician if you fancy a change of scene and would like to try something different from Domestic electrical work. Solar is more niche and full training will be provided.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install string cables onto photovoltaic (PV) array tables.
- Terminate DC mains cables at combiner boxes and inverter stations.
- Make off MC4 connectors at panels and combiner boxes.
- Terminate communication cables (RS485, CAT5, CAT6).
Skills & Qualifications required:
- Training will be provided
- ECS card (of some grading)
- 1- 2+ years' experience
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification, not essential
- Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work (solar experience is a bonus).
- Full UK driving license.
- Working hours; 7am-5pm with an hour for lunch, Mons-Thurs, 7am-2pm on Fridays. Overtime will be paid, 1x3 weekend work.
