IT Infrastructure and Operations Analyst

TristoneNash have partnered with a highly reputable social housing provider who is seeking to appoint an IT Infrastructure and Operations Analyst .

Location: Wiltshire

Start date: ASAP

Home-working: 2 to 3 days per week from home

Length of Contract: Permanent

Pay: £47,000

Hours of work: 37 per week (Monday to Friday)

In this is a 2nd line position, you will deliver, support, and maintain the core business line applications database, systems infrastructure and operational software and services. You will take ownership of services within one or more technical specialism with a focus on application support and optimisation. You'll be the go-to person for troubleshooting and optimising systems, helping teams and stakeholders navigate existing and new systems, emphasising best practices.

  • Providing efficient and effective support service to the business, specialising on the core applications used by various teams
  • Designing, planning, testing, and delivering new and existing systems
  • Ensuring solutions are resilient, secure and scalable
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and to a culture of collaboration
  • Encouraging and coaching stakeholders and customers in the adoption and use of systems
  • Dealing with system and service improvements, documentation and records, controls, monitoring, and alerts, configured hardware assets and well as SLA compliance, customer satisfaction, availability, reliability, and efficiency
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions to colleagues to assist with continuous improvement of the processes, procedures, techniques and standards in use in the department

Essential requirements and experience for this role: Desktop Support, Windows AD, database management experience, experience supporting CRMS, Financial management systems, or Housing Management Systems, Microsoft 365, application management, Cyber security, Automation and orchestration, Scripting and Coding, Web sites and Web Applications
