Talent Acquisition Manager (Fixed Term for 12 months in the first instance)

We are looking for an experienced recruitment professional, who is confident to lead our fast paced, customer focused recruitment team. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated leader with a positive, proactive approach and proven experience of sourcing and recruiting top talent.

The role is full-time, working 37 hours per initially offered on a fixed term basis for 12 months in the first instance and will be subject to review at the end of the fixed term period, based on success of the role.

Day to day of the role

The purpose of this role is to oversee the day-to-day operation of our recruitment function, reviewing processes and practice to enhance our in-house recruitment strategies. The ability to proactively develop a network of potential candidates from various sources, using your outgoing nature and strong communication skills will be essential to the success of this role.

  • Guide the recruitment team through the day-to-day workload, ensuring operational expectations are met.
  • Proactively support managers by providing in-depth advice on resourcing best practice; interviewing techniques, criteria and capability-based selection. Offer general support throughout the entire recruitment life cycle, ensuring consistency and fairness in the recruitment and selection process.
  • Utilise social media platforms to source potential candidates and engage with prospective candidates through email or phone.
  • Prepare, deliver and manage bespoke recruitment campaigns for hard to fill roles.

Required skills and qualifications

  • A Degree, or professional qualification, which is appropriate to the work.
  • Proven and relevant recruitment experience, minimum of 3 years.
  • Experience of management and leading a team.
  • Extensive experience of using various social media platforms to source candidates.
