Reed HR have partnered with a lovely organisation in Surrey who are looking for an HRIS Officer to join their Central Services team. This role is crucial in providing technical system support for our HR Information System (HRIS) and other associated HR systems. You will be responsible for delivering analytics and insights into management information data and metrics, as well as assisting with training interventions for staff and managers.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Manage all HR systems and management information projects, focusing on rota, time and attendance, recruitment, onboarding, and performance modules using Healthbox HR.
  • Ensure the weekly upload of DBS information from third-party providers into Healthbox, and manage timely renewal requests.
  • Develop an effective professional HR Information and systems service for managers and staff.
  • Provide business-focused information solutions to support high-quality, productive, and innovative services.
  • Supply high-quality management and workforce information and reports to support governance, ensuring data compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, particularly the Finance department.
  • Maintain data standards and governance within the HR systems, ensuring processes and procedures are lean and followed organisation wide.
  • Assist the HR Manager with statutory HR reporting requirements and ensure smooth transition of systems into live support.
  • Identify areas for system development to improve processes and staff efficiencies.
  • Liaise with the Finance Department to ensure compliance with audit requirements and shared data alignment.
  • Maintain documentation for all processes, investigations, and changes for information production and system maintenance.
  • Develop and manage the organisational training programme, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • CIPD Level 5 in Human Resources Practice or equivalent through relevant work experience.
  • Strong HR/People process knowledge.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing people data, reporting, systems, or insights.
  • Experience in driving continuous improvement in an HR/People team.
  • Experience in leading implementations of new digital people systems.
  • Experience in developing, designing, and delivering HR-related training.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a diplomatic approach to conflict resolution.
  • Numerate, lateral thinker, proficient in data analysis with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with managers and employees.
  • Subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS disclosure.
