We're excited to offer a unique opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join a reputable business based in Cosham. This 7-month temporary assignment comes with a blend of hybrid and flexible working hours, providing you with a balance between work and life.
This opportunity will be working closely with the Finance Manager, providing support with ad hoc project-based work, whilst assisting in the preparation of the monthly accounts.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Preparation of the final accounts
- Preparation of statutory financial statements
- Providing financial analysis as requested
- Providing analysis on financial and contractual issues
- Assisting other teams with budget processes
- Complying with companies policies and procedures
What you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Assistant Accountant / Assistant Financial Accountant / Assistant Management Accountant / Financial Accountant / Accounts Assistant / Accounting Technician
- Strong Excel skills
- Exceptional communication skills
