Management Accountant | Watford | Multi-site Hospitality Company | £45,000-£55,000

A Management Accountant job for a multi-site Hospitality company based in Watfordpaying £45,000-£55,000 on a 12 month fixed term contract.

You'll be working for a leading multi-site hospitality business with multiple revenue streams with a reputation for providing excellent service and a national portfolio.

You'll be working as a Management Accountant and will be responsible for ensuring that the financial information relating to all cost centres are recorded and reported accurately and on time as well as maintaining the balance sheet. Your duties will include;

  • Weekly and monthly P&L production and analysis
  • Preparation of accruals, prepayments, journals
  • Control Accounts reconciliation
  • Supports Regional Finance Business Partner
  • Ensure that all reports issued in relation to your allocated cost centres are timely and accurate. In particular, the weekly and monthly management accounts need to be issued in line with the strict timelines.
  • Responsible for balance sheet control, including 100% compliance of balance sheet reconciliations monthly.
  • Build meaningful relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance of internal controls.
  • Support internal and external audits, implementing new control recommendations and ensuring compliance with existing policies.

You'll need to be a part or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) although other experience will be considered. You'll need to have strong Excel and ideally have experience within a multi-site hospitality or retail business.

You'll be paid £45,000-£55,000 (depending on experience) and work 40 hours a week in an office based role. You'll be working in an excellent office space with parking on site and close to a plentiful supply of local amenities.
