As a Communications Manager, you will play a crucial role in amplifying our client's key messages and raising awareness of their purpose, strategy, and goals.

About the Role:
Join our dynamic team as a Communications Manager (Content) and play a pivotal role in shaping our internal and external communications strategy. You will create engaging content, drive the use of our content planner, and deliver compelling events. Collaborate with diverse stakeholders and make a significant impact on our communication efforts.

Collaborate with the communications team and across the business to devise and deliver content and campaigns that engage and raise awareness of our purpose, strategy, and goals with both internal and external audiences.

Key Role and Daily Tasks

  • Develop and deliver our communications strategy with the team, amplifying key messages through internal and external channels.
  • Create and execute communications plans using a variety of creative and compelling content.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to support impactful communications.
  • Implement metrics to measure communications impact and use insights to inform future activities.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of communications activities for internal and external audiences.
  • Help populate and effectively drive the use of the team content planner.
  • Respond to requests and proactively seek project and people stories that support our communications strategy.
  • Advise stakeholders on storytelling and channel use to help them effectively communicate.
  • Create engaging written, visual, and video content across various channels including Roche Home, webcasts, email newsletters, Google spaces, events, websites, and social media.
  • Support the team in planning and producing media and social media content.
  • Plan and deliver compelling events to engage various audiences, including devising agendas, briefing and coaching speakers, and managing agencies and suppliers.
  • Build measures into communications activity, contribute to a metrics dashboard, and use insights to shape future communications activity.
  • Provide communications support on change programmes and special projects identified as business priorities.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning, organising, and project management abilities.
  • Experience in developing content for various channels, both digital and face-to-face.
  • Proven success in delivering communications activities and campaigns.
  • Ability to build relationships, influence, and negotiate effectively.
  • Knowledge of communications best practises.
  • Ability to understand and translate complex information into engaging content.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in measuring and analysing communication impact.
  • Interest or skills in photography, videography, and editing.
  • Knowledge of digital platforms and content management systems.
  • Excellent media management skills.
  • Manage the product lifecycle, from market feedback to promotional materials.
  • Generate demand and leads through promotional activities.
  • Execute activities with audience-centricity.
