About The Role
At OCS Group, we are recruiting for an HGV Driver, who will be responsible for the timely delivery and retrieval of client product as instructed by the Dispatcher, Lead Driver or Shift Manager.
You will be working on a rotational 4-on-4-off shift pattern between Monday to Sunday, 04:00 to 23:00, 40 hours per week.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collection and delivery of assorted products to various locations including Heathrow, Gatwick & Manchester Airports
- Complete vehicle defect reports prior to driving a vehicle. Timely reporting of vehicle defects and safety issues, in accordance with legal requirements, and active participation in the rectification of identified issues
- Compliance with all security processes required of the role, including security checking and sealing of vehicles (where trained to do so)
- Maintain your vehicle's cleanliness and tidiness
- Ensure the safeguarding of the vehicle, keys and fuel card against theft, damage or misuse.
To be successful in the role, you will need:
- Category C+E Licence (HGV Class2 )
- Valid Digital Tachograph & CPC Cards
- Knowledge of transport law, work time directives and knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
- A valid driving license
- Previous aviation experience would be advantageous
- Previous Experience within a similar role driving a class2 HGV is essential
