  • Salary Range: £27,000 - £45,000 per year

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary School English Teacher to inspire and educate students in Key Stage 3 and 4. This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant educational community and contribute to the academic and personal growth of young learners.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils.
  • Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that promotes critical thinking, creativity, and a love for language.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and support their academic development.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school-wide initiatives.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events to enhance the student experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
  • PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching English at the secondary level is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong passion for education and literature.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
