My client a top Chinese Bank are currently looking for a Junior Accountant to join them on a 12-month FTC.
The role is working in a small finance team reporting into the Head of Finance.
Duties:
- Operate the core system, ensuring accurate accounting entry input and performing other necessary operations.
- Prepare daily management information reports and monitor key management and regulatory indicators.
- Take ownership of expenses, suspense accounts, and cash management; maintain financial statistics and collate information as required.
- Reconcile Nostro and Vostro accounts, as well as security custodian accounts.
- Ensure transaction records and data are accurately and timely filed.
- Complete additional tasks as required by your line manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- ACCA or ACA qualification (or part-qualified) is preferred.
- Relevant experience in the financial services industry is advantageous.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Mandarin language skills are preferred.
