Job Opportunity: Audit Senior

Are you an experienced audit professional looking to advance your career? We are seeking a dedicated Audit Senior to join their team on a permanent full-time basis in our Weston office. This role involves managing, controlling, and conducting audit fieldwork for a diverse range of clients, developing strong client relationships, and contributing to business development. You will also manage the preparation of financial statements for non-audit clients.

Main Duties

  • Plan, manage, control, and conduct audit fieldwork for a portfolio of clients under the direction of Audit Partners, Directors, and Managers.
  • Prepare financial statements.
  • Build and maintain client relationships.
  • Understand technical matters and present them logically and practically.
  • Manage and develop junior team members.
  • Conduct technical research and provide advice for clients and team members.
  • Assist Audit Partners in developing the department and proposals for new work.
  • Network with business communities in our office locations and client areas.
  • Work on clients across the region as required.

Attributes, Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

  • Outgoing, socially confident, and emotionally controlled.

  • Adaptable, organised, and conscientious.
  • Evaluative, professional, and team-oriented.
  • ACA or ACCA part qualified or qualified with experience in an audit and assurance team.
  • Good knowledge of UK Financial Reporting Standards and International Auditing Standards.
  • Proficient in developing and operating complex spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel, and competent in Word and Outlook.
  • Experience with Caseware audit software and Sage Accounts software is advantageous.

Terms / Benefits

  • Ideally 36.25 hours / 5 days per week (flexible and hybrid working available).
