Adecco working in partnership with Bentley Motors, a leading automotive company based in Crewe, is seeking a talented Switchboard Operator to join their team. This is a temporary part-time position with a contract length of 3 months. With an attractive hourly rate starting from £14.50, this is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and accurately route them to the appropriate departments within the organisation.
- Maintain the efficiency of the switchboard service, ensuring prompt call handling and minimal wait times.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers and suppliers, reflecting the company's professional image and brand values through excellent telephone etiquette.
- Provide handset administration support, including managing telephone directories and assisting users with general telephony queries.
- Collaborate with the access control office as required, supporting their operations for a defined period per week.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience as a switchboard operator or in a customer service role is desirable.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional phone manner.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to handle queries and provide efficient solutions.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high service levels.
