Role: Planning Lawyer
Location: North West London
Salary: £48,116 to £52,116 per annum
We are seeking a Planning Lawyer to join our legal team, providing expert legal advice on Planning, Regeneration, and Highways matters.
Job Purpose:
- Support the management of the legal department.
- Provide high-level, proactive legal advice to the Council, its members, and officers.
- Serve as a key contact for senior officers and members regarding legal issues in Planning, Regeneration, and Highways.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or FILEX.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Significant Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in planning law.
- Strong understanding of risk management in corporate governance.
- Well-developed expertise in planning law and local government law.
- Experience advising councils or boards in public meetings and reports.
- Knowledge of UK and EU legal trends affecting local government.
- Experience contributing to corporate policy and strategy development.
