Our client, a leading multi-disciplined design and construction management company within the building services sector, is seeking a talented Electrical Lead/ Practice Head to enhance their dynamic team. This permanent role based in Hertfordshire offers a chance to make a significant impact, leading cutting-edge projects and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Guide and inspire a skilled team of electrical engineers to deliver exceptional results.
  • Client Interaction: Build trust and foster strong relationships with clients through clear and effective communication.
  • Design Authority: Act as the go-to expert for electrical design, gaining ownership of technical solutions and innovations.
  • Project Cost Management: Conduct and oversee work costing to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and changing regulations.

Skills required:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical design within the building services industry
  • Exposure to team leadership or mentoring of junior engineers
  • Design authority & costing
  • Client/ customer facing
  • The business is open to considering candidates at Senior/ Principal engineering level, looking to make the next step in their careers*

Salary on offer for this position is £80,000-£85,000 + competitive benefits package (including a car allowance).
