Position: Installation Engineer
Location: Erdington
Rate: £35 - £39 per hour
Working hours: Monday - Friday 07:00 - 16:00
Contract Length: 12 - 14 Months
We are seeking a technically skilled Project Installation Engineer, with manufacturing experience, to ensure top-quality vendor installations. This role involves snagging, quality checks, and verifying correct installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform snagging and quality checks on vendor installations.
- Verify installations meet specified standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and vendors.
- Provide technical support during installations.
- Document and report progress and issues.
- Experience with quality assurance and control processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Experience as a facilities or installation engineer.
- Strong technical background.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
