Position: Service Technician/Engineer

Location: Kent

Working Hours: 4 days a week, night shifts or Flexible working hours.

Salary/Package: £25,000 - £32,000 – OTE - £43,000, Van/Fuel Card, PPE/Tools, Mobile/Technology, 22 days holiday + Banks. OT available

Do you hold experience Servicing Reverse Osmosis filters, tubes, UV's?

Have you completed a form of commercial cleaning?

Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Humidification Technician to join our service and maintenance team. The technician will be responsible for maintaining and servicing humidification systems, primarily within supermarkets. This role involves ensuring that humidification systems are functioning optimally to maintain product quality and compliance with health and safety regulations.

*Full training will be provided where required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on humidification systems at supermarket meat counters, ensuring all equipment operates effectively.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with humidification systems promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to supermarket operations.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations for food storage and display.
  • Commercial Cleaning of meat counters
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed, including maintenance logs and repair reports.
  • Interact professionally with supermarket staff and management, ensuring any issues are communicated clearly and resolved efficiently.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience with Commercial Cleaning
  • Experience in maintaining humidification systems, HVAC, or related mechanical systems.
  • Ensures accuracy in maintenance, servicing, and documentation.
  • Ability to manage time effectively to cover multiple locations within the area.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a retail or supermarket setting, is preferred.
  • Ability to work night shifts and travel between different sites in London.
  • Must be able to lift equipment, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks.
