The Role of Key Account Manager - National House Builders

  • This is a field home based role with national travel
  • On behalf of a blue-chip brand and manufacturer, you will bring to the market a leading range of structural construction / timber and flooring products.
  • The customer base / route to market is national / top 25 national house builders, including (Taylor Whimpey, Redrow, Barratt Homes and Persimmon), timber engineering company's such as (Howarth Timber, Staircraft, Donaldson Timber etc). You will also deal with selected national builders merchants at regional & national level dealing with Buyers /Regional Managers.
  • The successful Key Account Manager - National House Builders will inherit a strong client base and will be tasked with developing commercial relationships and uncovering growth opportunities within these accounts.

The Candidate for the Key Account Manager - National House Builders

  • You must have sold into national house builders at head office level
  • Strong commercial acumen / budgeting & forecasting experience
