Next Generation are pleased to have been appointed to recruit for a Process Engineer to work with a well-established engineering company based near Kingswinford. The Process Engineer will be responsible for processing and planning of orders for machined components.
Working hours for the Process Engineer:
- Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm
Friday 12.30pm finish

Duties of the Process Engineer:
- Process all new sales orders, ensuring routings selected are most economical and fully compliant with customer requirements
- Review specifications and drawings, providing technical support and assistance to any departments within the business that require it
- Create ITP's / MPS's based on customer requirements ensuring all technical and quality aspects are met
- Work closely with production planning to ensure that best route is chosen to suit the businesses current capacity and capabilities
- Dealing with customers regarding any queries of a technical nature where support is needed
- Performing contract review of sales orders and routings
- Deal with suppliers and procuring raw material / finished goods to meet customer demand
The successful candidate for the Process Engineers position will have the following experience:
- 3 - 5 years experience working as a Process Engineer (Essential)
- Experience Costing and devising the best route / best practice applied to all routings planned to ensure most efficient methods are used (Essential)
- Working within a CNC Machining environment (Desirable)
- Working with ERP Systems (Essential)
