Tucker French Ltd are a well-established independent plumbing and heating merchants, with branches and showrooms across London and the Home Counties.
We are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to support our Head Office finance and admin team at the Head Office in Epsom, Surrey. The role will be part-time, 15 to 20 hours per week. Onsite parking is available.
Your duties will include, but not limited to:
- Working with colleagues to ensure accuracy and timely payment of supplier invoices.
- Processing invoices (manual and electronic)
- Prepare supplier payment runs, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Resolving supplier queries.
- Reconcile statements.
- Managing supplier returned goods for branches, to ensure credit receipt.
- Other ad hoc work as requested.
The Successful Applicant:
- A self-starter - proactive, well-organised and able to manage your own workload.
- Exceptional work-ethic with the willingness to learn and develop within your role.
- Be able to use your initiative to solve any queries.
- Purchase Ledger experience (1 year preferred).
- Excel & Word (working knowledge).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping.
- Able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
